Naming Input Source on UN55D6000

by dnation / March 21, 2011 6:18 AM PDT

I'm trying to figure out how to name or designate the different inputs on my new TV. When I hit the source/input button the menu pops up on the left side of the TV listing all on the active and inactive inputs, and to the left of each is a Series of dashes, except for my Samsung Bluray player which automatically changed to "BD Player" when I hooked it up.

I'ver been through the menu backwards and forwards more times that I can count trying to find where I can label the other inputs (ie Video Game, DVD, Cable ETC) and have had no luck. I've tried the Emanual, nothing there either. It's really starting to drive me crazy. My old Samsung DLP was easy to change, so there has to be a way right? Anyone have any advice?
