1. Download and run the Autofix utility.
2. As a temporary workaround, remove the DVD-RW in Device Manager and force a redetect.

Basically this is my problem:
When i first start up my computer whatever is in any of my drives will read properly (be it a cd / dvd or nothing). Once its started up if i put a disc in or change one the the drive doesnt update in my computer, it jus stays as it was so say i had Warcraft 3 in and changed to a dvd it will still show Warcraft 3 being in there, all the right-context options stay in relation to the original disc aswell. I found that after burning in DVD-Decrypter, i think, the drive updated with the name of the disc jus burnt but again changing discs has no effect. I've tried hitting F5 a couple of times but it had no effect. I really dont know what else to look at,i uninstalled alcohol thinking that maybe the virtual drive caused a problem (cos even this doesnt update) but it had no effect.. any ideas? Im personally thinking its a software problem but i have no idea where to begin lookin to troubleshoot this problem.
My computer has:
Windows XP Pro w/SP2
Pentium 4 3.2 GhZ CPU
NEC 3500ag DVD-RW
not sure make of second dvd drive
(had) Alcohol 120
