My youngest's personal historic first

Aug 21, 2017 4:48PM PDT

I realized later my youngest is one of the few people in America who can say they took their driving test during the peak minutes of a solar eclipse (74% coverage of sun here in Maryland) to get her first full driver's license. Only those who took their first driving test and passed it today, can claim that. Her driver's test was between 2:30 to 24:5pm today, peak eclipse was at 2:42pm. One thing for sure is she will NEVER forget the day she got her first driving license.

I was talking with someone today and...

....they told me some friends of theirs scheduled their wedding to happen during the Eclipse. I wonder if that was a "one off" event or if there were a larger number of couples who planned to have their weddings on the solar eclipse?
