my WLM doesn't work! help!

Hi all,

My WLM version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416) doesn't work. I am unable to log in.

I have removed using Revo Uninstaller, ran CC Cleaner, rebooted and reinstalled but the problem persists.

I've used System Restore to a few weeks ago where my WLM still worked, and the problem persists.

The error code that appears is 8000ffff. I've searched online but there are no clear answers to solve this error code. Some suggest I reinstall Contacts.msi but I am unable to find this. My C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows Live Folder is empty. Some people say there should be msi files in there like contacts.msi etc.

I have ran Windows Update and there are no new updates. I run Windows 7 Home Premium.

I am at my wits end and am hoping for any advice or recommendations.
