My Windows XP takes forever to start up.

by VERNLULU / July 21, 2005 10:02 PM PDT

I know I probably have way too many processes that start up when I start my computer, that it why it starts slow. My question is which ones can I safely remove from the start up process? How would I copy and paste my task list of processes into this forum, so you may look at it? I am afraid of removing something that would hurt my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is Quick Startup program that would make XP boot faster. It free and has no expire date. Donna, you need to download it You should figure out which process to keep. If you made mistake you can undo you mistake by enable a process. You also add other programs to startup like Firefox . After you download it you can export startup processes to a notepad therefore you can copy and paste process here in this forum.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
