My Windows XP has couple of problems

1.Booting takes long time.I don't Know whether i am impatient but it definitely takes longer time.

2.Audio always experiences some disturbances.

3.Multitasking Issue.When I open my Audio and open any other program
my audio gets disturbed.

4.How do identify Background processes disturbing my system.

1. See what's run at startup using the startup tab of msconfig (start>run>msconfig).
2. See what's running using task manager (ctrl-alt-del, processes tab, sort on cpu descending). System idle 99% means system is doing nothing 99% of the time.
