how do you stop windows 7 mail system losing contacts a day or so after you save them? any solution much appreciated. cheers, gavin
I've had a new PC with a Windows 7 Premium Home edition O/S and Windows Live Mail for about 2 weeks. After transferring my entire Outlook Express Address book (from my old PC) into Live Mail's Contacts, including 15 groups of e-mails (with from 10 to 50 names & e-mail addresses in each group), which went into 15 separate "folders" in Live Mail.
Unfortunately, every few days in the last two weeks, I've noticed that one or more of the contacts in one or more of those 15 folders is no longer there, and I'm sure I didn't delete them from their respective folders.
Q. 1: Can anyone explain to me what's causing those unexpected dropouts from the contacts in my Live Mail Contacts folders? Q. 2: Is there a way to "lock in" the contacts in a Contacts folder, so they can't dropout or disappear unless I take them out myself?
Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
