by siclmn / January 1, 2007 12:41 PM PST

When I open a window it is too small and it shows a lot of desktop. I will stetch it to the right size and go file and close but when I open it again it is small again. What gives?

You didn't mention which browser you have.

For firefox>right click on ff icon>shortcut tab>next to run select normal, min,or max.

Open internet explorer>resize to your desired size>file>close.
internet explorer should now remember your last saved window size.

Yes that is exactly how it used to work but it won't do that anymore. Would there be anything in internet options that needs checking?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
