Unclear in your post:
- You triedto remove something. But you don't tell if it succeeded and if not, why not.
- And why did you want to go into troubleshooting after removing that data?
Anyway, either you removed too much, or it's some hardware issue.
Things to try:
1. Back to your latest image backup and try again.
2. Back to factory settings from the recovery disks or recovery partition or whatever procedure HP prescribed (you might need a Windows 10 install disk for that, but those are free to download).
3. See if it boot from a Linux disk or stick. If not, that's an indication of a hardware issue.
4. Forget about Windows and install Linux.
I tried to remove all of my personal data from my desktop, but when I tried to restart it (so I could go into troubleshooting), the computer started acting funny. It just shut itself off, then turned back on, and repeated this all night. It doesn't send a signal to the monitor, and doesn't respond to the keyboard or mouse.
