when i go to control panel-uninstall, i see a program that I had already removed? they don't offer delete. How do I get rid of that listing?

I don't want to download, anything . . . I just want to delete a listing that has been uninstall . . . But, thanks for the quick reply . . . Jerry
go to the folder where the program is, and if the folder only contains that program, delete the entire folder. Otherwise only the program exe file and any you know are associated with it.

Maybe a change in your theme settings will do it. Otherwise, run that line in the regedit search and find it.
