My TV shuts down automatically

Hi all, i'll have to excuse myself for any spelling issues i may make.
I just bought a LCD-television (model: LE40B650) and whenever i'm watching TV, it automatically shuts down after about 30 minutes (first the screen turns dark bleu/black, then it shuts off completely) after about 5 seconds it turns itself back on. after this it occurs again and again, each time comes quicker than the one before.
as you can imagine it's quite frustrating when watching a movie (or anything for that matter).
O yeah, before someone suggests, all timers are turned off.
Can someone help me with what i might have done wrong? Or do i have bad luck and did my television broke?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your television.

Why not call 800-SAMSUNG (US) and have a repair service ticket set up to have the unit inspected and fixed?
