I've asked the forum manager to have a look.
It might help when answer this post with some information abour post: when you posted it, what username you posted it with (your current username doesn't seem to be linked to a profile), in what forum you posted it and what the subject and content was.

Welcome to the CNET forums!
A couple of things, I fixed your username as I see that you changed your username from "CupcakesWillRule" to "Droid098". So now your current username will be displayed correctly in your forum posts and it will now link to the correct profile.
As for your post that was recently removed, we removed it because we felt it was promotional for TuneUp Utilities 2014 since you posted at the end of your post it reads: "However, the paid optimizer with the most votes is TuneUp Utilities 2014." which is stated even before your poll/survey was conducted.
Also I did a quick search on the Web and it looks like you or possibly some one else posted this exact same type of survey in another forum here.

The only differences between these two posts are the dates, even the "Spam notice" notes at the top were copied word for word which made me suspicious of this post, because in the CNET forums there are no user generated polls, so I was confused by this statement of yours "An off site survey is used due to limitations in the current in-forum poll system."
In addition to this, in our Forum policies we do clearly state that surveys are prohibited which is another reason why it was taken down. We just get way too many people posting surveys daily and it has become a problem.
We don't mind if you just post a question(s) to get people's feedback on optimizers and what they use and don't use, but the survey link can't be part of your post.
I hope this helps clarifies the reason why we removed your post.
Thank you for your understanding.

The reason why is because if I let your poll stand (even though I think your poll is very interesting), we would then have to let other polls/surveys slide as well and it will become a problem.
Each day we get inundated with people posting surveys ranging from businesses surveys to polls for school or personal reasons and it has been abused to the point where we just had to put our foot down and disallow it. It's unfortunate because I love polls as it draws great participation and discussions, but because of the amount of them, if we allow it eventually the forums will become overwhelmed with them and will be a distraction to the forums. So I hope you understand why we disallow it.
Respectfully,
-Lee
