My Taskbar is Messed Up

OS: Microsoft Windows XP
Everything on the taskbar seems to be in working order but when ever i open up windows and minimize them they aren't there anymore. I tried to put a picture but I'm not too familiar with the thread business here.

I tried the Taskbar Options Lock and Unlock taskbar, but it doesn't work

The only thing i can describe is that i'm missing one of those blockers on the taskbar, there is one for the Quick Launch but the onther one is missing, so now all the items on my taskbar are exposed but I'm not able to view all the windows i have opened.

I I can open up the task manager and access my windows there but its just annoying.

John Go to the link below and under the letter "T"--"Taskbar" click on "Minimized Programs Missing" to download a vbs file and save it to your hard drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double
click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled. These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System Registry.

It should correct your problem.
