My sony vaio vgn-fw 48h had a problem

Hi my laptop which is sony vaio intel core 2 duo 2.0 Ghz,3gb,320 hdd,wireless,1.3 cam,dvd dl-dual layer RW,radeon Hd with Win 7 home premium had this problem from couple of days which is i found that in my picture folder there are duplicate pictures of name vcm i want to know is that a virus or what as i had norton 360 licensed which is updated.but it can only find a tracking cookie when i scan nothing else.also some times when i go to my computer the icon of my hdd which is C drive disappear and it become some thing else.also i cant restore my system to earlier point.i think there is a problem in win 7.plz guide

You can't have 2 files with the same name in the same folder. So having "duplicate pictures of name vcm" is an impossible situation.

Maybe, if you repost, tell your problem better. Also tell where the FIRST copy came from and when the SECOND copy (with another name) is created (same time, later; all second copies at the same time?).

yes i found that there is a sony software which is making duplicate software name is pmb.picture utility i think that is making directory
