open a web page on my vaio walk a way came back a it said operating system not found and i have no cd at all help pls and it run vista

Many of today's machines have us create those restore DVDs. I see about 80% of the time the owner never does this. Later they discover why they should have done that and "backed up" what they couldn't lose.

-> Since you don't have the second issue you would call Sony and order restore media. It's far cheaper than the alternatives.
