my sony MDR-EX71 shredded

Hi all,

Too bad I didn't read this forum before buying these earbuds. Like most of you, great sound, comfort etc, but the black wire insulation disintegrated after only 8 months of normal use. So... I need to get new earbuds with comprable qualities, but hopefully one that will actually last!

Please post your recommendations. I'd be grateful for the insight.
