Question

My SM-T900 doesnt switch on

Jul 13, 2015 11:09AM PDT

Hey there.

My tablet last night was just fine! Everything was working perfectly and i played a few games before i went to sleep. Anyhow, Today afternoon i was trying to wake up the screen of my tablet and it doesn't working! I put it in to charge but nothing happens. The only thing that happens is getting warmer at the back because of charging.

So overall, last night my tablet was working and today is not even turn on.

Thanks

Clarification Request
In or out of warranty?
Jul 13, 2015 11:14AM PDT

In, make the calls and let them deal with it.

Out? Try holding down the power button of a few minutes. Release, wait, try again.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR4h8XY8VMQ appears to be your model. We don't need to replace the battery yet. But want to unplug it, wait, then plug it back in to re-test.

Is in.

The product is in warranty.
But there is a past. Few weeks back i try to root my tablet and i didn't make it. I had the problem "Firmware upgrade encountered and issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again" But i managed to recover to fully factory settings all over again. Is this a problem?

I can't know that.

But get back to the forum that helped you root it and ask them how to root a bricked device.

Did you try the long power button test? Did you unplug the battery advice?

hopefully is is under warranty

since you tried to root it, there is a chance you may have voided the warranty.
