Hi JENJENNGUYEN,

There was one thing you can try to make sure that this is not caused by a glitch in the system: With your TV powered ON, unplug your TV from the wall outlet. Wait 30 seconds. Plug your TV back in.

If your TV continues to turn off and on, then your TV will need service. In that case, here's the thread for how to setup service: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-542437/service-issues-click-here-for-help/

SAMSUNG TV TURNS ON AND OFF.
by THEMABS126126 / November 25, 2012 11:39 PM PST

I ORDERED A COVER LAMP ON LINE PUT IN THE MODEL NUMBER AND RECEIVED THE LAMP IN TWO DAYS. $35.00 YOU CAN GO ON LINE AND GET THE MANUAL FOR THE TV. NET NET YOU REMOVE A PANEL, REMOVE A SLEEVE, UNSCREW 1 SCREW AND PULL OUT THE OLD LAMP. SLIDE THE NEW LAMP IN , TIGHTEN 1 SCREW INSERT THE SLEVE AND GO. I AM WATCHING THE TV NOW. I FIGURED IT WAS WORTH THE $35 RATHER THEN A SEVICE CALL $125 PLUS PARTS.

Samsung TV on and off

It did not help my TV, at my time I never new about the 35.00 Light for your panel, I did waste my money paying for service fees and more my panel was fixed and I say no more then six days later my TV flicks right off now my TV is only six months old. But my problem resolved now. I fixed the problem myself. I just wish I new about the light price before Samsung took me on a wallet spree.

My 55' Samsung TV keeps turning on and off UNTIL I DID THI
by MillsV39 / October 10, 2016 6:27 AM PDT

I'm not going to run the full story down, of course I experience the samething as every single last person on here. Yes we all called Samsung, yes we try rebooting the TV, changing the settings, the timer, etc.etc. nothing changed, even spending too much cash to have a technician out bunch of B.S. This is what you need to do IF:
IF YOU HAVE CABLE USING THE HDMI CABLE CORD, and YOU OWN A RED, WHITE, AND YELLOW CORDS, PLUG THE COLORS CORDS TO YA TV AND TO THE CABLE BOX LEAVING THE HDMI CORDS PLUG UP AS WELL FROM THE CABLE TO YOU YOUR TV. NOW TURN ON YOUR TV USING THE POWERBUTTON ON THE TV, ONCE YOUR TV TURNS ON UNPLUG THE HDMI CORD, GO DIRECTLY INTO YOUR SETTINGS AND CHANGE YOUR TIMER TO OFF AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT NEEDS TO BE OFF. THE TRICK IS FOR MY TV. IS TAKING THE POWERCORD OUT EVERYNIGHT AND IF I FORGETS AND I GO TURN MY TV ON AND IT COMES ON AND TURN RIGHT OFF, I GO GET MY HDMI CORD PLUG IT INTO THE CABLEBOX AND TO THE HDMI SLOT ON MY TV THEN TURN IT ON, NOW REMEMBER THE COLOR CORDS ARE STILL PLUG UP... ONCE MY TV ON I UNPLUG THE HDMI CORD AND MY TV DONT TURN OFF AT ALL. ME AND My SPOUSE GOT TIRED OF CALLING AND BITCHING. THIS THE BEST METHOD I LEARNED ON MY OWN, ALL THE LIES AND CASH WAISTED. I PAID TO MUCH MONEY FOR MY TV TO THROW AWAY. I WILL POST A LIVE VIDEO IF MY TV GOES OFF AGAIN WHICH IT WILL LIKE THIS MORNING ONLY BECAUSE WE FORGOT TO UNPLUG IT LAST NIGHT BUT ITS NO BIGGIE ONCE I DID THE HOOKUP MY TV ON AS IM WRITING YOU GUYS NOW. LOOKOUT FOR A VID SOON. HOPE THIS TRULY HELPS
