General discussion

My posts are attributed to another UserID

Jan 31, 2007 8:03AM PST

I post under "boya84". I have set up no other User ID at CNET.

I recently discovered that several of my recent posts are attributed to
"Tarunwala". I have no idea who or what that is. When I posted those
posts, I was logged in - as I am always logged in to CNET - as boya84... It said so in the upper right corner.

What's going on? Who is "Tarunwalla"? And how do I get MY posts to be
attributed to "boya84"?

Thank you for investigating...

Bill

I did a quick scan of the

Thank you Bill reporting this and hopefully get your post

back into your profile soon. And figure what went wrong.

Thanks again!

Just in case... TODAY, I actually used the log-out link and logged back in hoping that whatever cache or memory address pointer had me stuck to that other User ID got cleared.

Bill this should be fixed now...

I randomly went through your forum posts in your profile to checked to make sure your posts are showing up under your username boya84 and not Tarunwalla's anymore, and it all seems to have been corrected.

Let me know if you see different.

Thanks!
