Is the phone branded w/ a cellular carrier ? Is it an international device ? Have you attempted to manually configure the data settings in the phone ? Please clarify before anyone can offer additional help.
Alright let me explain the whole scenario:
I had a locked galaxy s2 phone with AT&T. I wanted to get an Xperia Play so bought an unlocked one off of amazon. Yesterday I got it and put in my sim card form the at&t phone and I cannot get the mobile internet to work on it. I am able to make calls and even get the wifi internet connection, but it just won't work at all over 3g. I forget what it said exactly but whenever I tried to load a webpage it would say something along the lines of "Unable to connect". I did a little bit of research and tried everything I could find but nothing seemed to work for me. I do have my data roaming enabled, that seemed like one of the most common solutions.
Does anybody have some tips on what may be the problem? Thanks in advance
