Well here`s my personal experience and opinion regarding this dvd-writer by Cd-r king.

This Dvd-writer costs only Php 1380, and it will save me more than half the price for an Apple superdrive. So I gave it a shot and I really loved it, I travel a lot for work and the small compact thin size is perfect. But what I really liked the most regarding this Dvd-writer, it doesn`t need any complicated drivers to install, it`s simply plug and play. I plugged it in and it was ready to go in about 30 seconds, it will save you from mind aching set-ups. Which is literally a very big factor for me. I was able to read from several different sized media. The video playback was smooth and without any glitches, I have also been able to burn a couple of DVDs, and it worked swiftly and flawlessly from the very moment I plugged it into my MacBook Air. My sister even burrowed it from me and it also worked well on his PC with an operating system windows 8. It is also relatively quite in operation, I have not had any compatibility problems and it`s quite durable for its cheap price. All of my criteria were met and I highly recommend this product, I'm liking everything I've purchased through Cd-r king thus far.
