Question

my pen drive cannot be formatted nor edited

Hey all, i have a mosebear 4gb pen drive which now cannot be formatted nor edited. adding new contents is also not possible.
As i insert my pen drive in usb port a message appears " you need to Format the drive before use... and as i try to format it pushes an error msg you donot have sufficient rights to perform this operation"..
I tried cmd command to format it but there it states "please insert a disk in drive i".
Can anyone please help me..

1. Try it on another PC, just to see if the pen drive is OK and the USB-port on your PC is defective. The most likely outcome is that then pen drive has gone south.
2. Throw it away and use another one.

i tried using in other pcs .. its shows the memeory of 3.64 gb buT doesn't open.. please help me get my pen drive back.... please...

Why would you need a non-working pen-drive? I can't think of any use for it.

Of course, you might need another pen drive. I need them also. Luckily, they are cheap.

I have a few tech friends that we use them to slice or crack open to show or demo how to reflow solder joints that sometimes brings back a dead stick.

For some odd reason a few techs can't watch the YouTube and learn about this but need the hands on training.
