my pc wont turn on i need help!

im rebuilding my pc (alienware 2004), which all the parts are brand new and compartible with each other i have a intel motherboard D975XBX2 ive plugged in the 4 pin molex, the 8 pin power cable and the 24 pin cable, the power switch cable graphics card ram dvd cd drive but when i put the power cable in and turn in on the LED on the board comes on but when you press the on switch nothing happens. any suggestions on what to do?

i used this when installing the board ive checked everything in #13 on the board and #8 and it still wont come on

So the LED on your motherboard lights up? Do you have a motherboard speaker plugged in?
If something is wrong with your motherboard you should hear a special sound.
Did you connect your power button on your motherboard?
