That is, what if the temp that is a problem is some part without a temp sensor?
The 8350 is years old so did you start with a good cleaning and fresh heatsink compound on all heatsinks? When you did this, are all fans working as they did new?
You seem to have the CPU covered but what about GPU and motherboard chips?
Also, let's get that PSU model in here. If it's not a single rail model, I'll call it suspect.
Hi,
I don't know if it's the right section but I think it's CPU related.
I have an AMD FX-8350 cpu on a MSI 970 Gaming motherboard with 8 gb Ram and a Radeon R9 200 series. I have a very good 600W power supply but I can't remember the model right now.
I can only play games on power saver mode because if I try to play with balanced or high performance mode my windows 10 pc reboots after some minutes (4-5 max). So I bought a Noctua NH-U9S because I noticed that my cpu temp went over 80 C°. A very skilled friend of mine mounted the thermal paste and the Noctua.
Now my cpu temp rarely goes over 65 C° ( I set this limit on the bios) but my pc keeps rebooting when I play games on balanced or high performance mode. Everything ok when I set power save mode.
I also noticed that on high performance mode the pc reboots even on idle...
I really don't know what the problem could be so I ask you precious help. Please tell me if you need any additional info about my system.
Thanks!
