my pc keeps shutting down (please help!!...)

hi all
my spec = Processor:
AMD Athlon(tm)64x2 Dual core 5000+
Hard Drive:
Video Card:
nMSI 9500GT/ SLI 1Gb
Operating System:
XP PRO sp2
600w psu

right my problem is everytime i play hd games my pc looses internet connection and then turns it self off , this has just started to happend so i ran a diagnostics but it never finished cus it keeps turning off,please can you help me cus its driving me mad

Sounds suspiciously like a virus or spyware however before jumping to conclusions have you:

- Recently installed any new software or drivers
- Do you have up to date antivirus
- Have you added any new hardware to your system
- Are you able to boot your system in safe mode

The PSU seems powerful enough. So it could be heat. Check the fans and the heat paste on the CPU. See if there's a program to check the CPU temp when running. Run with the case off.

ive checked everything im just wondering if it cud be the ram because i have x1gig kingston ddr2 667 and a 2gig 667 in mobo do they have to be put in a certain way not sure but still trying
