Question

My PC has started crashing after upgrade

Feb 2, 2015 5:21AM PST

Hey, so i'll start off by listing my specs;

Processor: AMD FX 4100 quad core
8gb of RAM 1333Mhz DDR3
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R7 260X
Power supply: (Recently upgraded) Corsair TX650M Modular.
Motherboard: ga-78lmt-S2P
I use 2 monitors, 1 1920x1080 and 1 1360x768

So when i turn on my computer, my rig is almost silent-running and as i spend more time using it, my psu will start to make a fairly quiet hum ( this is maybe after 2 hours) and after 4 hours i'd say, my pc just crashes out of nowhere, and my screens go black.
I thought this might be a problem with my fans or some cooling problem as if i put my hand inside my pc when it's running i can barely feel the fan working, i can feel almost nothing outside my case behind my psu in terms of cooling aside from heat. I placed my hand on my graphics card after it crashed the first time and it felt far too hot.
I'm probaly making a rookie error here or something but I'd love somebody to shed some light on my situation, much love to you all.

Clarification Request
Are you relying on just the PSU fans to move air?

If so, reconsider your case fan solution. For now, leave the cover off to avoid aging your PC parts and having a total meltdown.

you posted about GPU thermal paste as well as canned air and more . That might be part of it too (maybe?)

Have you used the canned air and new thermal paste?

I have not, but things may have gotten worse, in the sense that my pc just crashed again with everything as cold as can be, so i feel like it's not even cooling that's the problem. I launchd, it worked for about 20 minutes and suddenly had awful audio stutter crashing with black screens Sad. I feel worried.

Time to try a Linux live dvd/usb OS to test if it's hardware

Google on how to do that.
