my old printer can not connect to my newer computer

My home computer is a windows 10 pro and it dose not have the hook up for my printer. My printer is an old printer but it works very well still it is a hp laserjet 4050TN. Before I bought my new pro 10 computer my old home computer has the hook up for my printer /This new computer does not..Help!!

I assume you use the parallel or serial port to connect with your old computer, while the new computer hasn't such ports. Maybe you bought the wrong computer?
Luckily, there are PCI-E parallel adapter cards. Buy and install it, that should help.

Doesn't the TN model have Ethernet? That would go to your network and not rely on the PC for a direct connection.

Maybe it's time to use it's other connections?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
