Question

my old laptop Windows 7

I'm using Windows 7 and I'm having trouble with updates
however, now that I got it up and running, my mouse is Frozen. so now I cannot use my mouth. I'm using a laptop.

With only this much information I can't tell you what to try other than boot to Safe Mode and see if it works there. I am seeing degraded upgrade times on W7. It's probably moved the slowest servers at Microsoft and receiving little to no attention.

I really don't care about W7 updates. If this was mine I'd be tackling the mouth and mouse issues. Cool

I also like you. Use win 7 and long time no fault worth mentioning. but i really like win 7
