Resolved Question

My new PC will not boot

Hi, I am having some problems with my newly built PC running Windows 10. It has been working completely fine for a week or so, but now for some reason, it will not boot. I keep getting 4 different Windows 10 error codes: 0xc0000428, 0xc0000225, 0xc0000221 & 0xc0000098, and I cannot use any of the options in the F8 menu. I have googled the codes, but they all have the same solution. They say I have to repair Windows with the MediaCreationTool provided by Microsoft on a USB drive. But when I boot from the USB it still displays the error codes, even if I physically disconnect the drive containing the OS. (It does work on other computers) I have even tried booting from a Windows 7 installation disc, but still the same kind of error, but in a win 7 format. I have tried to update the BIOS, but it will not recognize the file from ASUS as a bios update file, it just displays: "selected bios is not a proper bios file". I have tried almost everything, and nothing seems to work. Please help.

My specs:
OS: Windows 10
Kingston 240 GB SSD
Seagate 1TB SSHD
Seagate 500GB HDD
CPU: Intel Core i5 7600K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB

Then it's a hardware issue. You, as the builder, has to diagnose and fix it.

Start with the minimal configuration: PSU, motherboard, 1 disk, 1 RAM stick, only the integrated graphics, on cardboard (not inside the case).

Thank you! It turned out to be one of my RAM sticks that was failing.
