and many times what you have would be good to go for games; however, you don't say whether these are installed games from cd's that you had before or if these are online games. For installed games, perhaps you can right click the icon for the game that starts it up, choose Properties, and then on the compatability tab, use the down arrow to change it to W98 and the game will work again.
I was just given a brand new HP Pavilion a1240n Media Center PC. It seems to be a pretty powerful machine, but in only has PCI slots and I would like to get better graphics out of it. What can I do? Get a new motherboard, power supply, and video card? If I do all that, I'm wondering what kinds of combinations are going to work with the tower and rest of the components in it? Should I get a new case as well? I have no idea really, I would really appreciate advice on the easiest/least expensive way to get some powerful graphics on this machine. Thanks for help.
