Question

My mouse won't appear in a browser, windows 8

Dec 30, 2014 4:12AM PST

I think that my son hit some button that changed a setting somewhere, my mouse isn't visible on any webpages, in fact only the keyboard and touch screen work. It works in other programs, including control panel etc. I have an HP Pavillion touch smart sleekbook. I have already run the trouble shooter and been through tutorials on how to make it show up and nothing is working. Help!

Answer
Enable the touch pad in settings
Jan 9, 2015 4:58AM PST

step 1: Go to control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers -> Mouse.
step 2: Select the Device Settings tab -> Settings.
step 3: Select Tapping. Click the settings icon.
step 4: Uncheck "Double Tap to Enable or Disable Touch Pad".

Hope this helps!
