Search for BTX cases

Sounds like you have a BTX case. They have a different arrangement than ATX cases.

Yes BTX, but which do you want to buy?

In reply to: My mother board is on the wrong side! Help me find a case!!

Yes that's a BTX, which is a lot newer and rarer than the old standard ATX, but is basically a mirror image of the other. You didn't say which one you want to buy.

The big advantage of the new (BTX) design is not in the case, but the mobo layout, which among other features, finally has the RAM aligned with the air flow (90 degrees rotated from older designs) so as not to impede it, rather than across the air flow direction (acting like fences). That should greatly help interior cooling, and perhaps allow for smaller or slower fans which would theoretically be quieter.

In any case (pun) just call or surf any major case seller and ask for the style you need if you don't see it. If I build another onr in the future, I'd opt for BTX or whatever new, better style comes out in the meantime.
