Question

My LG tv automatically resumes playback after being paused

Jul 26, 2013 7:04AM PDT

I've got a 42'' LG TV. When playing films from the USB port (i.e. through a pen drive), I sometimes need to pause the film for approximately 10-15 minutes. After this time has elapsed, the film resumes on its own. It always happens, so is not something intermittent. After approximately 15 minutes or so, playback continues on its own.

I have gone through the options countless times, but have not found anything to turn it off - so unsure if it's a feature.

Any ideas what it could be? It's been driving me crazy!

This seems to be a standard feature mine does exactly the same it's to protect the screen from having a static image for to long. The best best solution if you need longer is to stop the play back then when your ready it will ask you if you wish to continue from where you stopped it. Hope this helps.
