Ola,
I am having the same problem with my Samsung LCD TV. My setup is different than yours, I am using Windows 7, but have the same problem as you. I've been able to watch one show (after trying a couple of times), but I've had less success with other shows.
Thanks,
Tony
I have very recently purchased a Samsung UE46B7070 LED TV which I think is brilliant. My only problem is that I have all my DivX clips, music and pictures saved on a upnp enabled network drive (Lacie network space). This means that I am not too keen on installing the provided software on another computer as it would mean leaving it ON whenever I would like to watch one of my DivX/AVI files on the TV.
When I try to access my media from the tv (connected via ethernet cable) it re-boots when I press play. Youtube and the other internet enabled tools work fine, but the DLNA streaming from my upnp device fails.
Why does my TV reboot when I try to watch a program from my network server? I have managed to watch one program only. All others seem to make the TV switch itself off and then on again.
I have an old D-Link mediastreamer that works fine with the Lacie network space, so I would expect the Samsung to work just as well (or in fact BETTER).
Has anyone else had a similar problem - and does anyone have an idea on how to fix it?
Thanks,
Ola
