Question

My laptop won't turn to the page where I can sign in

Usually, when I turn on my laptop, there's this page where you click any button to go to the page where you need to sign in before it turn on. However, i could not go to the page eventhough I clicked every button on my laptop. Really appreciate anyone that could help me solve this problem. The model is lenovo ideapad 310-14IKB

I think I had a case like that.

And this is going to get a little technical. To get around it and we're still not sure why this worked we booted Safe Mode with Networking and then it worked (as good as Safe Mode works) and then we clicked on the start button then restart and it cleared it up. Still a mystery why that worked.

Here's a search on how to start W10 in safe mode:

Thanks a million. I had a similar shock after installing the Creators Fall W10 update on my Dell Studio. Using my other computer I found this post and it solved it!

fwiw - I notice that when I went to restart in Safe Mode, during the shutting down phase, I got a message saying that Firefox (version 57.02 - brand new and much different than v56) was preventing shut down and offered to close it for me. I clicked yes, and all went well. So maybe my startup problem was due to the combination of new W10 and new FF. Thanks again.

Be aware we would be guessing why this works. But it's in our "try this" list now.
