No. You get it fixed or you replace the LCD.

Laptop LCD replacements run around 100. But do you do your own replacement? If not, add another 100.

Details matter

If the LCD itself is broken then only a replacement LCD will do. No amount of s/w fiddling or putzing around will fix it if its a h/w breakage. depending on your laptop this boils down the ease of repair, if you're capable to follow through. Otherwise, as already stated then a repair shop is the next stop. You may want to check YouTube for instruction or informative ways of repair or enter your laptop model# and see where it leads. If this is a popular laptop, you'll have someone that already done this. I suggest further, if cost is too much or laptop is much older, rethink this and just buy another laptop being the better course to take. Up to you and your skills.

You want help, provide "full details" of your PC.

laptop screen broken help
Dec 24, 2012 4:57AM PST

I have fixed many of these with similiar problem. Kids get mad and punch screen, etc.. Anyway you can use an external monitor until you get screen replaced. Check eBay for used or Amazon for new screen. I charged my customers about $90 for labor and then between $60 and $160 for another screen. Replacing a screen can be a pain. You need lots of patience. Check YouTube for replacement instructions. clembotech
