Question

My Laptop ( Lenovo y50-70 ) won't charge

Feb 25, 2018 10:01PM PST

(Sorry for the english) My laptop wont charge, my uncle took it because he "knew" about this stuff , he told that the mother board was burnt ao i checked it before and found that the DC power cable was burnt on the side where you conect it to the laptop , thats the only thing burnt.
When i used it the last time i was surfing on the net and it stopped charging and instarted looking what was it , and the charger was on good state, so the laptop was still on and was discharging normally .
I was thinking on buying a new dc power cable this is the model-
ZIVY2 DC CABLE
DC30100R900 SAD3

Im sorry if i didnt speak properly. Thanks.

Should help if the defective cable is the cause indeed. But if there's a deeper cause and burning of the cable is caused by that, it won't. Then all you get is a second cable burnt.
