I've just did a factory reset and passes too much time recovering my data. Would prefer to not do it again. Thanks though !

So it's something about this PC.

It's unclear if the effect is "I tap the capslock and it types in caps but the light is off". That could point to a failing led in the keyboard. The cost of a keyboard is 12 to 99 bucks and depending on the model easy to hard to replace.

My advice in this issue has been for years to ignore it since it's more annoyance than a broken thing that stops you cold.

There are small apps that put the caps lock state in the tray or on screen.
