My Iriver sometimes freezes. Should I return it?

Jun 10, 2005 10:53PM PDT

Basically, what happens is that during some songs my player freezes and turns off. It then turns back on again but to another song.

SHOULD I RETURN IT OR KEEP IT?

Return it

My Iriver never synced right and their customer service was unreachable by phone and ******** by email. I settled on a Samsung YH-925 GS

Exchange it for another one.

Then see how it turns out. If it's something constant then, yes, forget iRiver. If you get a bum player, then oh well. It happens wiht EVERY company. Not just iRiver, like mumpsie may make it seem.

go onto Iriver's website, look up your model, and see if there is a firmware upgrade. I had some problems with my Creative MuVo N200 (flash player) and I got rid of those problems by upgrading the firmware. It that does not help, or there is no firmware upgrade return the player.
