Question

My iPhone X Dropped in water.

I dropped my iPhone X in water a couple days ago. The speakers are fine for the most part, but the bass hasn’t returned to normal all the way. How can normalize the speaker/dry it properly? I don’t believe rice helps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turn it off

and place it in a dry spot for at least a week.

FWIW, personal experience shows that rice does, in fact, work

iphone speaker

First of keep in mind that phones are never waterproof but water resistant. You can claim its warrenty if water was 7 feet deep or less. Beside all these possibalities, in such scenario i will turn off my phone and keep it in high temperature in open air for atleast a day.

7 feet deep and you get to keep the warranty!

Not a chance on an iPhone.
Water indicators change color and you own a phone with no warranty
