my internet options disapeared

Jul 14, 2004 12:13PM PDT

I set my internet cookie options to ask me about first party cookies, and today I noticed that no notices popped up.
I went to check out the situation in the Internet Options folder in control panel, and IT WASN'T THERE!

I did a search, included hidden files, and it didn't show up.

Where did my Internet Options app go?

and there was this blank space where it should have been, in Control Panel. So I know I'm not delusional.
Anyone? Help?

WAG! You did not give much info but...

If running Win XP I would do a System File Check to see if a missing or corrupt file.

Start/ Run/ Type in "sfc /scannow" without the quotes and leave space after sfc. Have your windows XP CD handy and follow the prompts. It takes a little time to complete. This procedure will verify that all XP system files are intact and correct.

Best of luck,
