I?d post this in the virus and security alert forum, since this sounds like a malware issue more than a browser bug per se. You?ll find good help there.

Re: Unwanted homepage

Hello,
Somehow you must have clicked on IE's update site and clicked something on the page to make it your homepage from the sound of it. If you have a 2000XP, I did not see what you were using other than Explorer, all you need to do is go to the page you want as your home page, go to tools then options, this will bring up the page that keeps your homepage your homepage. Click current, if I am not mistaken, and it should put the address in, then click apply, then ok, and that should do it. Or you can just go to a main page like MSN, Yahoo, or any of the others, and on their main or home page you should see ''make this my home page'' without the quotes, click that and it will change it for you. If you have anything other than an XP, I suggest you use the second system as I have explained how to do it for a 2000XP.
Hope this helps Happy
