How many bytes in your GB?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / June 21, 2009 2:20 AM PDT

GB from the hard disk maker is 1,000,000,000 bytes but many computers report 1,073,741,824 bytes so both numbers are well within reason.

Thanks, I just needed to make sure because I'm selling this laptop and I don't want them to think I'm trying to rip them off.

thanks Bob

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
