The same platform. This would be untrue for real world development.

Your post reads as this is your first foray. Give it time, you'll get it.

Hi and Hello
So I am looking forward to opening a game (making) studio.
I have got the place of work and I've got the salaries for 2 months.
My budget for the pc's and other hardware is 90,000 dollars but I'm having problems choosing which device.
Note-I am going to hire 100 game developers
so what piece of hardware should the devs be using
I kinda liked the dell Inspiron 15 3543 series,Its performance is sufficient for developing a game and I think I'll be able to get a 100 of them wholesale so that will be like 57,500 dollars, here are the specs-
Intel Core i7-5500U Processor 2.40GHz
Windows 8.1
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD
15.6" HD-LED,DVD-RW
2GB Dedicated VRAM
I thought of going laptop because a 100 cpu's and monitors need a lot of juice to run and I don't want to pay a 10 thousand dollar bill each month.I also need to know what other stuff will be needed because sometimes you want to put some audio in the game so recording it on a mobile or some type of handheld would look stupid and will be of low quality.I will go next week to buy all the boxes and stations and handhelds and a giant tv for testing the games.I am going for 25 games or more per month so I'm pretty sure I will be able to pay the salaries for the next months
The devs will be using unity3d and 2d.If you know about another game engine please share.and I want around 5 devs working together, depends on what type of game so Unity charges way too much for their team license,I think its 800 per person so thats 80k and its a lot.So if you've used cry engine please share you experience.I won't be going for unreal engine because the cut 5 percent of your profit from the game made from their engine.
Thanks in advance.
