Question

My galaxy s4 keeps shutting down

Mar 24, 2016 11:00PM PDT

Samsung galaxy s4
Device Brand: samsung
Device Model: SPH-L720T
OS: 5.0.1

Hello all I have a galaxy s4 and an annoying problem is it will appear to have shut down as when I hit the power button to look at it the screen won't light up but if I have received a message recently the little message indicator light will still light up and so a moment later my phone will just reboot I've looked at the battery its not deformed or bulging I've wiped the cache partition and removed any apps I've installed well before the problem started I'd like to not have to restore it to factory conditions is there something I haven't thought of

plug the charging cable into the phone and see if it will turn on - this will also help determine if bad battery.
