Question

My FAVORITES

May 3, 2016 3:42PM PDT

I just got a new laptop with Windows 10 on it. I cannot find my FAVORITES icon anywhere. It has all my genealogy, medical, etc websites saved & I need it back. I've tried importing like several help sites have posted but nothing seems to work or I can't find where it was imported to. Is there an easy fix for this problem? I hope someone out there can help me! Thank, Sharry Happy

Clarification Request
Did you happen to opt in to that new email login?

I found that to cause issues like this.

Also, you never change the OS or do anything huge without backups. As a PC owner I'm sure you've head it over and over.

Try logging out and see if your old user account is still there.

Try to log in your account again and then click the " Favorites link " in Edge . Select Internet Explorer, and click the Import button. You can put to the test to see .

This is one of my problems:
Another help website said to get on EDGE, over on the right hand side of the screen it would show an option BETWEEN CHOOSE A THEME and OPEN WITH that says: Show the Favorite Bar with an option to click on Off or On...and another option that says Import favorites from another browser.
I don't have either of these two options on my version of EDGE.

Be sure to check in Internet Explorer too.

Remember that I didn't find my favorites until I logged into my old account.
