Bought cyberlink Power Producer 6.00 deluxe couple months ago seeking simple way to copy videos from my P.C. to DVD to play on TV player. But, burning to DVD took close to an hour and somewhere in the middle, it would stop as unsuccessful and give me an error code. I contacted their technical service. After couple days, they gave me several possibilities including reinstalling the program. I then consulted my company IT guy, who suggested my 5 year old computer was not be up to Cyberlink specifications. Since I planned to replace my P.C., I waited until we I got new Windows 7 computer with the state of art capability. I reinstalled the Powerproducer program, but got the same error message and the speed was not much better. I sought Cyberlink help, but it was not better than the first time. Giving up, I tried DVD maker that came with the P.C. and I found it can burn a DVD successfully in a few minutes. I might not be technology savvy, but if an error message has a number designated by the designer, I'd expect the technical help to provide better answers as to what the error message likely refers to. Cyberlink help was unable to zero on the problem. They also wanted me to get a shot of the problem, which meant I have to spend over an hour repeating the slow copying process until I get to the point of the error. The tech guy wanted me to provide him with so much information, that I simply gave up. Luckily, DVD maker is able to do what I want in couple minutes.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
