WhenI press the "delete" key it frequently doesn't work so I then double click "Backspace" and the word is then deleted.
I am pretty sure that the problem is not in the keyboard itself.
Has anyone out there had the same problem and if so then perhaps someone knows how to solve this problem.

Given so many out there, the first thing I'd do is to find HOUSECALL (with google) and check if you have a new pet.

then its time to test the keyboard even if you're sure it isn't.
Try the keyboard on another computer. Does the problem transfer to the other computer? If so, it's the keyboard.
Try another keyboard on your computer. Problem gone away? If so it is likely to be your keyboard.
