The answers to this problem on other forums does not work for Windows 7 . Has anybody solved the problem on Windows 7.

TouchFreeze is usually not required anymore as most pad driver/software incorporate this today. Just in case, you can find it here: https://code.google.com/p/touchfreeze/

The last synaptics I used had a similar setting in it's control panel so no need to use touchfreeze.
Frankly, it's such a well discussed issue that many won't talk about it.

This is working for me but I am wondering why it does seem to work. Do you know?
Basically it softens or spreads the force out. A way to reduce sensitivity that may not be possible in hardware or software.
