My computers fan come on but I get no picture on the montior

to start it is a e machine(w3621) CPU AMD sempron 3400+ socket AM2 1.8Ghz/256 KB/Cache/1600Mhz FSB/ vista home basic/Chipset is NVIDIA GeForce 6150. One day i was on it and the screen start going weird and I turn it off.Now when i turn it on i can hear the fan come on but no picture comes on.even the blue light around the symbol will not come on.Soi thought I could put a video card in it,and it would come on but no.So what can i do now. thanks donhat

That sounds like it may still be in warranty.

It just when out of warrarity. about two month ago.They give me a lttle help.and I do mean a little help.Told me to take the monitor cord off and then back on to see if would come back on.
